Are you a talented Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer looking for an opportunity to build impactful software solutions across web and mobile platforms?
We are seeking an ambitious developer to join a growing business based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, working closely with leadership teams to design, develop, and maintain a range of internal systems, client portals, websites, dashboards, and automation tools that drive business growth and efficiency.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to deployment, working across the full stack and helping shape the future of the company’s technology platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building and maintaining full-stack web and mobile applications
- Developing back-end systems using Node.js and Express
- Creating modern front-end interfaces using React
- Designing, maintaining, and optimising SQL databases
- Developing APIs and integrating with third-party systems
- Building secure client portals, internal tools, dashboards, and business systems
- Supporting integrations with CRM systems, communication platforms, and automation tools
- Maintaining and improving legacy systems, including existing PHP applications
- Working through development, staging, testing, and production deployment cycles
- Writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills & Experience:
✔ Strong JavaScript experience
✔ Commercial experience with Node.js, Express, and React
✔ Strong SQL/database knowledge
✔ Experience building and consuming APIs
✔ Experience developing full-stack applications from concept to deployment
✔ Understanding of authentication, security, and secure coding practices
✔ Experience with Git/version control
✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
✔ Excellent communication skills
Bonus Skills (Desirable):
- PHP experience
- SaaS product development
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Vercel, etc.)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Mobile app development
- CRM and automation integrations
- Telephony, communication systems, or contact centre software experience
- Dashboard and reporting platform development
- Webex or communication platform integrations
