An established and growing organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of multiple technical projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team environment where you will take full ownership of projects from initial kick-off through to final delivery and handover.
This role would suit someone with a background in technical manufacturing, construction, or engineering, who enjoys working across complex projects and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing projects from contract award through to completion and handover
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Developing and maintaining detailed project plans and documentation
Coordinating technical input and supporting documentation with engineering teams
Monitoring progress, resources, and timelines to ensure successful delivery
Identifying and managing risks and opportunities
Leading project meetings and providing regular progress reporting
Maintaining accurate records, action logs, and project documentation
Supporting continuous improvement and process development
Participating in project reviews and quality processes
Attending client meetings and occasional travel where required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in a Project Manager position
Background in technical manufacturing, construction, or engineering
Strong organisational and planning skills
Good mechanical or technical understanding
Experience working in customer-facing project environments
Confidence managing multiple stakeholders
Strong communication and reporting skills
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (including Excel and Project)
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
Desirable:
Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM)
