About the opportunity

WE Talent is recruiting a Marketing Manager for a not-for-profit organisation on an initial five-month contract.

You’ll take ownership of marketing activity across programmes, events and training, from planning campaigns to creating content and measuring results.

  • Promote programmes, events and training.
  • Manage social media, email and website content.
  • Write compelling copy, press releases and briefings.
  • Keep branding and messaging consistent.
  • Build media, partner and stakeholder relationships.
  • Support reputation and sensitive communications.
  • Coordinate internal communications.
  • Work with senior leaders and public affairs colleagues.
  • Manage staff, freelancers, suppliers and budgets.
  • Track results and improve campaign performance.

About you

To succeed as Marketing Manager, you’ll need:

  • Strong experience across marketing and communications.
  • A hands-on approach to campaigns and content.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
  • Digital, social media and email marketing expertise.
  • Experience using analytics to improve results.
  • Media relations and reputation management experience.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders.
  • People, project and supplier management skills.
  • Strong organisation, discretion and sound judgement.
  • An understanding of working alongside public affairs.

Not-for-profit experience and a relevant qualification would be advantageous. Occasional evening or weekend availability is required.

Remuneration and working arrangements

  • Salary: £45,000 per annum, pro rata for the contract.
  • Five-month contract.
  • Immediate start.
  • Full-time: 37.5 hours per week.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Potential for a permanent or revised role.
