Recruitment Manager
About the opportunity
WE Talent is recruiting for a creative agency based in Leigh-on-Sea that is looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to join its team.
Working across a varied portfolio of clients and sectors, you'll take ownership of SEO and Google Ads, developing and delivering strategies that improve search visibility, drive website traffic and generate measurable results.
You'll work alongside specialists across digital, creative, branding, social media and web, combining analytical skills with creative thinking to deliver effective digital campaigns for clients.
The role
You'll be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, with a particular focus on organic and paid search performance. This will include developing SEO strategies covering technical SEO, on-page optimisation and content, as well as creating, managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns.
You'll conduct keyword research and competitor analysis, identify opportunities to improve search performance, and plan, write and optimise blogs, website content and landing pages. You'll also manage client websites through WordPress and use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
You'll track leads, conversions, acquisition costs and return on marketing spend, translating client objectives into practical strategies and campaign plans. You'll prepare performance reports, communicate recommendations clearly to clients and collaborate with colleagues across social media, creative, brand and web to deliver joined-up campaigns. Using AI tools effectively for research, analysis, content creation and everyday digital marketing tasks will also be an important part of the role.
About you
We're looking for an experienced digital marketing professional with at least three years' experience, ideally within an agency or a similarly varied environment. You'll have strong, demonstrable experience in SEO and Google Ads, alongside practical WordPress experience and the ability to write and optimise website content and blogs.
You'll have a good working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager, together with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into practical insights and recommendations. You'll understand lead generation, conversions, cost per acquisition (CPA) and return on advertising spend (ROAS/ROMS), and be confident managing multiple client accounts and priorities.
You'll also be comfortable working directly with clients, explaining your recommendations and demonstrating the results of campaigns you've personally delivered. Experience using AI tools within digital marketing workflows is essential.
Additional experience
Experience with Meta Ads, other paid social platforms, organic social media, email marketing, CRM and marketing automation would be beneficial. Knowledge of AI and generative search, LinkedIn advertising, lead generation and conversion rate optimisation would also be useful.
The role would suit someone with an interest in editorial planning, content strategy and creative campaigns, as well as experience briefing web developers, designers, videographers or photographers. Experience contributing to new business proposals and pitches, or knowledge of web coding languages and UI/UX, would also be an advantage.
